About
A participatory workshop in collective image-making using PathPaint, a software-as-art digital painting application by Andrew Rosinski. Each workshop is preceded by a multimedia lecture “A Brief History of Computer Painting.” Participants BYOD (Bring Your Own Device), and in timed intervals, create digital paintings on their own devices in response to computationally generated poetic text prompts. Thereafter, an algorithm curates a concatenated sequence of the computer paintings for public exhibition.
Presented by Page Bureau and RELATED DEPARTMENT, in conjunction with their new publication Follow the Butterflies by Andrew Rosinski.
